V Group revamps The Lodge and launches new workspace concept
V Group, Hong Kong’s award-winning hotel and serviced apartment provider, announced the reopening of The Lodge following a full scale refurbishment. Located in the heart of West Kowloon district at 535 Canton Road, the property officially opened its doors on August 31, 2013.
“Recognising the burgeoning development of the area, the Group strategically acquired The Lodge in 2009. In 2012, we embarked on a gradual renovation of the property investing close to HK$50 million,” explains Ms Vivien Chan, BBS JP, Founder & Chairman of the V Group of companies. “The property is now of the standards expected from our brand and better services the needs of customers with an attractive price point to match.”
The property comprises 92 revamped apartment studios, each with a private balcony, allowing more privacy and a better view for all guests, not only accommodating the needs for young couples and singles, but also for corporate and expatriates. With more sophisticated and modish design, each studio is also being resigned to dexterously utilize and maximize the space, like offering easy lift-up storage under the bed. There are four configurations of apartment studios, each ranging from 380 to 390 square feet at a rental rate from HK$20,000 to HK$24,000 per month.
The renovations now have added and improved facilities at The Lodge with a brand new equipped 1,500 sq. ft. fitness centre, as well as boast a 650 square feet new outdoor BBQ terrace on the third floor.
In addition to the studios at The Lodge, the Group has also developed WORKSMART Offices located on the first floor. Available for both residents and non-residents, the new workspace concept allows businesses and individuals to rent corporate space at ease. All individual WORKSMART Offices spaces are fully furnished with individual phone lines, e-fax lines, high speed wifi, all-in-one printers and benefit from cleaning services. Additional amenities include a pantry and access to meeting rooms. Security at the WORKSMART Offices is covered 24 hours to ensure the safety of all tenants.
