THIS MONTH LONG FOOD FEST IS INTO ITS 14TH YEAR AND IS EAGERLY AWAITED BY LOCALS AND FOODIES WHO FLY IN FROM ACROSS THE GLOBE EVERY SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER/NOVEMBER AS MIGF IS USUALLY HELD AROUND THIS PERIOD.
THIS POWER COUPLE HOSTED DINNER AT NEO TAMARIND FOR 20 GUESTS LAST NIGHT. THE OWNERS OF NEO TAMARIND, FREDERICO AND HIS POLE-DANCING WIFE MAPLE (YES SHE DOES POLE DANCING AND TEACHES IT TOO SO DON'T THINK SHE WORKS IN PATPONG OK) WAS CELEBRATING HIS BIRTHDAY IN SINGAPORE WHERE THEY ALSO RUN SUCCESSFUL BUSINESSES. OBVIOUSLY FREDERICO PREFERRED THE SINGAPOREANS TO US AND I HOPE HE IS READING THIS IN MORTIFICATION AND CRINGING AND WILL THROW A LAVISH BELATED BIRTHDAY PARTY IN KUALA LUMPUR TO MAKE UP FOR THIS FIASCO!

OH, THE DINNER AT NEO TAMARIND WHICH IS LOCATED ON A HILLOCK SOME 60 FEET ABOVE JALAN SULTAN ISMAIL SO IT FEELS LIKE A RESORT. MELIUM GROUO HELD THEIR FABULOUS 'STYLE ROCKS' PARTY HERE AEONS AGO AND I THINK IT IS TIME FOR A REPEAT FEAT!
NEO TAMARIND IS ALSO JOININGG MIGF AFTER A HIATUS OF 3 YEARS AND THE FOOD STANDARD REMAINS INTACT.
