NATIONAL DAY OF SWEDEN ON 4 JUNE 2015 HOSTED BY SWEDISH AMBASSADOR TO MALAYSIA
National Day of Sweden is celebrated every year on 6th June, this year in Kuala Lumpur we celebrated on 4th of June at the JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur. Swedish Ambassador to Malaysia, Mr. Bengt G Carlsson and Mdm. Wiveka Carlsson hosted the event to more than 350 guests comprising members of the diplomatic, Swedish & Malaysian business companies, Associations and the Swedish community. Representing Malaysia was Honourable Datuk Mary Yap Kain Ching, Deputy Minister of Education of Malaysia. Guests were treated to the Swedish cuisines and Malaysian satay. The ceremony also saw Ericsson celebrating 50th years anniversary with speech by Mr. Todd Ashton, President of Ericsson Malaysia and products demonstration held in the Ericsson booth.
Datuk Ambiga sreenevasan was also present at the event.
