MIGF 2015 PART 1---THE OLIVE AT GENTING GRAND HOTEL AT RESORTS WORLD IS THE WORLD'S BEST FINE-DINING RESTAURANT AT 6,000 FEET ABOVE SEA LEVEL!

WHEN THE OLIVE WAS ANNOUNCED AS 2015 WINNER OF GOLDEN CAULDRON AWARD AT THE AWARDS CEREMONY AT CONNEXIONS@NEXUS BANGSAR SOUTH, NONE WAS SURPRISED.

Indeed we would be shocked if The Olive had not won!

The MIGF dinner at The Olive was a superlative experience from start to finish and not only was the food spectacular, so was the presentation, service and delivery!

The theme for MIGF 2015 was Galactic Chefs---A Food Odyssey and The Olive walked the extra mile to dress its staff in Star Wars storm trooper costumes identical to the costumes worn by MIGF staff at the opening and closing ceremonies! Indeed I even thought The Olive had borrowed Dato Steve Day's arsenal of costumes! But all was planned and presented by the talented and creative staff of The Olive! 

The Olive is now officially recognised as the best restaurant in Malaysia for 2015/16 and Genting romped home with 4 out of 6 top awards! Congratulations Edward Holloway the SEnior Vice President of Genting Hotel Operations, Oliver Lopez the Group Chef of Resorts World Genting and Chef Radzuan Hamzah the resident chef of The Olive! Kudos must also be given to sommelier extraordinaire Kevin Yee and Khew Choon Teck the vice president of Food and Beverage General Management.

The Olive can tailor-design a theme for your dinner or celebration as Resorts World must have tons of costumes in store! So test their creativity when you host your event at The Olive and invite me!

Expect to pay RM 440 for 8 course dinner with wine, RM 300 without.
