Thailand is officially entering the cool season, and it’s a time when the country is in full bloom. In Northern Thailand, Chiang Mai’s mountains, parks and gardens burst to life with seasonal blooms flowering in the beautiful sunshine.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand’s (TAT) Contact Centre is recommending four beautiful gardens and parks in Chiang Mai for Thai and foreign visitors to enjoy some of the province’s most amazing natural sights during this cool season.
Rai Dok Lom Nao Literally translated as the ‘winter flower farm’, this lovely hilly garden of verbena flowers is located on Mon Chaem. The hill of Mon Chaem is popular among Thai and foreign tourists for its beautiful mountaintop viewpoint overlooking the Mae Rim Valley and Royal Project farms. The flower farm is open daily, from 06.00-18.30 Hrs. Entrance fee is 20 Baht per person.
