19 th November 2019 – The Malaysia Retail Chain Association (MRCA) successfully organized the exclusive MRCA Charity Golf 2019 at Tropicana Golf & Country Resort with 30 flights sold totaling to 120 golfers.

The Organizing Chairpersons for this year are Dato’ Alex Wong of Hap Seng Star Sdn Bhd and Mr. Brian Tham, of Watatime Sdn Bhd.

The main objective of this event is to combine workplace health management and social commitment, while pursuing networking between companies and contributing back to the society.

This MRCA charity event managed to raise RM50,000 which was donated to five selected charity bodies: • Bethesda Home, Rawang • Persatuan Kebajikan Dialysis Neesum Ipoh Perak • Persatuan Rumah Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Makarios, Subang Jaya • Rumah Orang-Orang Tua Seri Setia, Sg Way Selangor • Seri Sayang Welfare Home, Batang Kali.

The Hole-in-One sponsor is none other than Hap Seng Star Sdn Bhd who generously sponsored the Mercedes Benz A-Class 200. The day was continued with a dinner that evening with entertaining activities planned for golfers to enjoy.

The highlight of the night was the charity auction whereby a total of 7 sponsored items were put up for auction and all proceeds went towards charity bodies.
