But if you are a Chink, they will not bother you. I thought it a bit strange, like reverse racism since most of these peddlers are blacks from north Africa. So I asked a rather handsome guy loaded with fake watches and belts and wallets why he never offered his wares to me.

Anyway, Porte de Clignancourt's official name is very de cute---Les Puces de Saint-Ouen or Les Puces which is not pronounced as 'Pussies'! 'Puces' means 'markets' and you know the French cry for mercy when we do something nice to them. They squeak 'Merci' which means 'Thank you' and not 'Mercy'. Well, this is what happens when you eat frogs.
We Chinks eat monkeys' brains and tiger's penises which make us stronger and smarter!
Here you can buy the latest trendy fashions made by unknowns and the hottest accessories and shoes and everything you can and cannot imagine. From fashion to fakes to the fraudulent and fabulous, genuine antiques and collectibles!
I bought my first diamond here back in 1998---a 4.5 carat solitaire set inside a pink quartz for 14,000 French francs or RM 7,000. This remains one of my most treasured possessions.

Porte de Cligancourt actually consists of around 12 big and small markets all elbowing and leading into each other which is why it is called Les Puces or The Markets!
Allocate at least 3 hours. I normally spend 5 to 6 hours slowly scouring for treasures and items I know are totally useless and unnecessary and possibly over-priced based on my budget but are absolutely irresistible!
