Two-time IRONMAN 70.3 World Champion and three
time IRONMAN World Champion Craig Alexander headlines the men’s
professional field for IRONMAN 70.3 Putrajaya on Sunday, April 13.
Alexander recently announced his retirement from IRONMAN racing to
focus more time to the shorter 70.3 distance and also allow more
time for the father of three to spend with his family and building
his coaching business.

Australian
based, British born athlete, Liz Blatchford spearhead’s the women’s
field. After a long and distinguished career in Olympic distance
racing and just two years competing in Ironman Blatchford currently
holds three IRONMAN 70.3 titles and will be keen to add a fourth.
2013 was a big year for Blatchford with her first IRONMAN win at IRONMAN
Cairns, Australia. She then went on to take third place at the 2013
IRONMAN World Championship, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii and justifying her
pre-race favourite status.
