Jovian Mandagie x Lazada Spring/Summer 2016 Collection

E-commerce giant, Lazada Malaysia teams up with renowned fashion designer, Jovian Mandagie to launch a special Spring/Summer 2016 collection. The Jovian Mangadie ready-to-wear collection is exclusively available for customers from 21st January 2016 only on Lazada.

“We are thrilled with this exclusive collaboration with Malaysia’s leading fashion designer, Jovian Mandagie. 2016 is going to be an interesting year in the fashion category for Lazada and this collaboration with Jovian Mandagie marks the first of many initiatives we have planned for the year, said Hans-Peter Ressel, CEO of Lazada Malaysia.

The effortless staple that is trendy and chic enough for an all-year roster is what defines the Jovian Mandagie x Lazada collection. Featuring twenty-eight (28) designs that are fully inspired by the modern-day women who are actively pursuing their career while at the same time living in style, the collection puts a new perspective to everyday dressing.

“This debut is proof of how two different brands can merge together to create an impeccable partnership that fills the gap in our market. The collaboration was a natural move for us and now with Lazada Malaysia this collection will be accessible to my fans over the country. I want this debut to become a new benchmark for Jovian and Lazada,” said Jovian Mandagie, Creative Director of Jovian Ready-To-Wear.

While exemplifying the brand’s knack for functionality and luxury, the design incorporates crystal and floral beads on 3⁄4-sleeved blouses and around the upper part of the Baju Kurung

The injection of pastel colours, bright colours and prints are displayed on the side-slit cardigan, long line shirt, peplum skirts, mermaid-cut skirt, pencil and palazzo pants, giving the collection a contemporary appeal.

Due to its wide-appeal, this collection utilizes a strong mixture of fabric from the usage of heavily textured chiffon to the light-patterned ones. It also has touches of woolen tweed for a warmer effect, cotton jersey for a softer approach, Polly cotton as well as the signature crepe with an exceptional drape to tease the sense of touch.
