Experience an evening of pure indulgence with fine French
cuisine, dainty canapes, exquisite wines and more at ‘Wine and Dine’ at Lafite,
Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur every last Friday of the month starting 29
September 2017 from 7pm to 10.30pm at RM 290 nett per person.
Executive Chef Olivier
Pistre has put together a sumptuous menu consisting of the finest ingredients
to give diners a unique dining experience.
The evening starts off with
pre-dinner wine tasting featuring a selection of red and white French wines followed
by a round of canapes consisting of Lemon Poached Green Asparagus with Quail
Eggs, House Smoked Salmon Tartare with Avruga caviar and watermelons with Feta
cheese and balsamic vinegar.
The three-course
dinner menu begins with Heirloom Tomato Variation & Burrata “De Pouilles”,
made with marinated tomatoes, herb juice injection, burrata cheese and crispy
baked wafer.
The entrée consists of Pan Seared Duck Breast and Foie Gras, served
with green peas and duck jus.
This is followed by dessert, which comprises of French Rum
Baba made with rum, pistachio sponge and raspberry gel.
Every two diners
get a bottle of wine from a selection of Pierre Andre Mâcon-Village
“Vaucharmes” or Chateau Malbec Bordeaux. For the month of September, French
wines will be served. Italian wines will be served in October and Australian
wines will be served in November.
The
next ‘Wine and Dine’ will be held on 27 October and 24 November 2017, with a
