DIAMONDS AND VANTABLACK® Neuhausen am Rheinfall

The Venturer Concept Vantablack® Diamonds from H. Moser & Cie. marries the purity of white gold and the brilliance of diamonds with the deepest black of a dial made from Vantablack®, an innovative material used in astrophysics.

Playing heavily on contrasts, the Schaffhausen-based manufacture has produced a seductive, sparkling model with a 39 mm diameter case. It adopts a resolutely minimalist aesthetic, effortlessly elegant thanks to its pared-down dial.

Drawing on its considerable expertise in producing Vantablack® dials, H. Moser & Cie. finds a new application for this high-tech material more commonly used in astrophysics for telescopes, or for military thermal camouflage, using it to give a glamorous twist to this sensual, curvaceous model.

The roundness of the case, topped with a domed crystal, is reminiscent of the pocket watches and convex forms of the 1960s and the Bauhaus movement of the 1920s. Adorned with 313 dazzling diamonds, the white gold of the case offers an arresting contrast with the astral black of the Concept dial, absorbing light like an abyss and free from either logo or indices.

With its exquisite exterior, the Venturer Concept Vantablack® Diamonds is the ultimate in elegance, perfect paired with either an evening dress or a dinner jacket, bold yet refined, traditional yet sexy, with astonishing depth and a lustrous shine.

And, because a watch's beauty is nothing without its mechanism, the Venturer Concept Vantablack® Diamonds is equipped with the HMC 327 hand-wound Manufacture calibre, visible through the sapphire case-back. The movement has a generous power reserve of at least 3 days, shown in an indicator on the reverse side of the watch to preserve the minimalist appeal of the dial.

For the strap, H. Moser & Cie. has opted for black alligator leather, resulting in a timeless look. This is a model certain to attract all those who stray into its orbit. The unmistakeable H. Moser & Cie. style of irreverent Haute Horlogerie.
