DUNHILL, ONE OF THE WORLD'S FINEST CIGGIES, HOSTED A CLASS ACT OF A PARTY AT ZEBRA SQUARE LAST NIGHT.
It was strictly a private, invite-only party and ICs were required to prove I was over 21 so I was very flattered. We all had to queue to sign in to enter so it was all very proper and professional. The party was for non-Muslims and those over 21 only.
It was just a night of fun and frivolity with free-flowing drinks from champagne to beer to soft drinks and plain water.
Champagne was by Brut and not some sparkling wine (which was good enough) or worse, cheap plonk. Beer was Carlsberg, my favorite fashion! So right from the start everything augured well and the party mood was light hearted, happy and contagious.
The deejays did not have to invite anyone to dance as many did just that from wherever they were standing.
The party mood was heightened (or should that be lightened?) with the 'Elegantly White' dress code and many came in white. The overall effect was stunning as nothing beats the white as snow effect. In fact, the entire scene was very bridal as so many were decked in white and looked pure as the driven snow.
Too bad there was no Best Dressed awards as so many deserved to win. Except me as I came in red since I had to attend an earlier event that called for auspicious red.
I was very impressed by the professionalism and sleek flow of events, from the bottomless bar to decor, furnishings and lighting. Congrats to BAT and Trad3mark!
The highlight, apart from showtime by Tara McDonald and Emily Scott, was the free photo session by ishoot, the photo kiosk operated by veteran photographer Bonnie Yap and Desiree.
Everyone marvelled at the professional, high res quality images and ultra fast printing as my photo appeared even before I could finish adjusting my hair. Bonnie Yap even customised the background colour (blue in this case) and the slogans 'DEFINE' and 'Redefining Your Senses'.
I was even given 4 choices; B/W, Sepia, Enhanced and Natural. I opted for Natural since I look divine this way.

Why did Tara McDonald shave the right side of her head and why was she dressed as Minnie Mouse? These are questions that may never be answered
I thought she looked a bit like Datuk Michelle Yeoh, wonder if she is from Ipoh
