style icon Bonnae Gokson is celebrating recognition among the world’s “top
cake masters” with the unveiling of this year’s signature Christmas cake at
bespoke Central cake shop Ms B's CAKERY.
The festive specialty is complemented by
miniature Christmas Cakelettes in the same festive theme. A
‘red velvet’ combination of beetroot & cacao with cheesecake and warm
spices, the cakelettes are priced at HK$70, or HK$180 for a box of three and
HK$540 for a box of nine.
Back by popular demand for the delight of apple and cinnamon lovers, is the delectable Poinsettia Christmas Cake, much loved by many throughout the Christmas Seasons. The apple-cinnamon chiffon cake, deliciously moist with Fuji apple compote & fresh cream, is available in two sizes, 500g (HK$720) and 1,000g (HK$1,200). A decadent new treat for chocolate lovers that is also labour intensive on the cakery menu. The seductive autumn-themed confection named SUNKISS'D charmingly combines chocolate mousse and chiffon with cocao nibs, three more surprising textures of chocolate and orange curd on a honey almond crunch base, priced HK$880 (500g) and HK$1,380 (1,000g). This season’s festive cakes can be ordered two days in advance from Monday 25 November 2013 at Ms B’s CAKERY on 39 Gough Street, Central as well as C’est La B – Harbour City, Pacific Place and Tai Hang, which originally inspired the popularity of her homemade desserts. Ms B’s CAKERY is also introducing different gifts for sales which give perfect ideas for those who are looking for a more unique Christmas presents for loved ones or business partners. A festive ‘Christmas Kiosk’ at Pacific Place will be launched from Thursday 5 December 2013 to early February 2014 for sale of exquisite selection of fun & beautiful gift packaging sets include Ms B’s CAKERY Christmas Puddings, created using a recipe with less sugar and flavoured with rum & fig, port & prune, and whisky & marmalade, priced at HK$380 (500g) or HK$480 (800g). A macadamia nut log version is also available at HK$320 (500g) as well as a Date and Honey log at HK$480 for 800g. Homemade cookies, chocolate crunch and a delicious healthy Mango and Cashew granola including sugar free versions are also available. This kiosk is located right beside Pacific Place Concierge on 2/F which opens from 11am - 9:30pm daily.
