He also highlighted the Group’s success thus far in maintaining its position for 17 years as the global leader in manufacturing of yachts over 24m. 

Datuk Omar Mustapha the Chairman and owner of AB Yachts (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd stated “The love of the ocean is what started the Azimut journey and we look forward to sharing with our potential clients the joys of yachting and the beauty of Italian craftsmanship.  With many developments recently incorporating marinas along the beautiful coastline of Malaysia, the timing is right for Azimut Yachts Malaysia”.

He further added that through their extended network in Sabah and Sarawak, AB Yachts will also serve its Brunei based customers. 

Members of the media had the opportunity to explore the full-fledged showroom that closely followed specifications from Azimut Benetti Italy.  Complete with timber flooring and lovely wooden beams, the showroom also had on display the various options available for the yachts (from countertops to cushion covers) and to scale model yachts.

AB Yachts has access to market the entire range of Azimut Yachts ranging from EUR500,000 for the sporty Atlantis 43 to the luxurious Grande 35 Metri at EUR15,000,000.
