THE LONDON EYE COSTS AROUND RM 100 PER PERSON TO ENTER ITS CAPSULE BUT IT IS WORTH IT!
Catch the whole thingy on StarWorld channel on ASTRO starting from 11 September which will run for 13 weeks!
You get stunning views of the world famous Parliament House or Palace of Westminster as it is formally called. From wherever you stand inside the capsule, you enjoy sweeping, panoramic views of north and south of Thames and it is definitely something worth filming, shooting and writing home about!
London Eye opened in 2000 and stands 135 metres high or 443 feet and has a width of 120 metres or 394 feet.
When completed it was the tallest ferris wheel in the world but in 2006 it was surpassed by the 160 m (520 ft) Star of Nanchang and then by the Singapore Flyer in 2008 which is bigger than Star of Nanchang by a mere 5 metres at 165 m (541 ft).
Its official name is EDF Energy London Eye after a 3-year sponsorship deal but of course as far as we are concerned, it is just London Eye as who has heard of EDF? EPF yes, but not EDF!
