His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco
ON 31 JULY 2013, THE MOROCCAN EMBASSY IN KUALA LUMPUR CELEBRATED ITS NATIONAL DAY AT PRINCE HOTEL KUALA LUMPUR IN HONOUR OF THE 14TH YEAR OF ENTHRONEMENT OF HIS MAJESTY THE KING OF MOROCCO KING MOHAMMED VI WHO ASCENDED THE THRONE ON 23 JULY 1999 UPON THE DEATH OF HIS FATHER KING HASSAN II.
Traditional Moroccan cuisine, piping hot tea and arabic coffee and delicious pastries were offered to 400 guests.
Guest of Honour was Dato Haji Tajuddin Abdul Rahman, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry who toasted the health of His Majesty the King of Morocco while the Moroccan ambassador saluted His Majesty the King of Malaysia.
I was a friend of the former ambassador HE Ahmad Amaziane who lived in Kuala Lumpur for many years but has sadly passed away last year. Strangely his name and title remains unchanged in the Moroccan official website! He is dead but his photo and name remain on what is an outdated website!
