DATIN MAYLENE YONG AND KEE HUA CHEE IN KEITH KEE KOUTURE
This is Part 2 of the Glitterama ---An Evening of Pure Harmony held on 3 September 2011 at Grand Ballroom, Shangri-La, the best 5-star hotel in Kuala Lumpur and of course that means the best in Malaysia as if a hotel in the capital loses to a hotel in Kota Baru, Kelantan, means the end is high high.
Anyway this sequel to my first blog on Glitterama ladies is due to the fabulous photos taken by hotshot young pixman Shaun Tan. They turned out to be so fabulous I was instructed by Buddha and Jesus to publish them as not to do would be a disservice to mankind and Zeus might even hurl a thunderbolt at me and who am I to disagree with the gods.
So here they are. This is very pictorial as all the lurid details are in my original blog posted earlier. As they say a picture is worth a 1,000 words but of course this only applies to text written by someone else. If the words are written by me, it is worth only 10 words per picture but the rest are 1,000 words per picture.
Shaun Tan who fazed me with his photos is still a student at INTI and studying business so this is still part time but when I saw his images, I assumed he shamelessly stole them from the Internet from professional photographers. They were that good. He swore on the souls of all his ancestors buried in China and Malaysia he took these images himself and did not pilfer from cyber space.
Shaun Tan is all of 21 so I warned him he would suffer horribly for the rest of his life if he lied to me. He is a bit late starting out as I was 14 when I was recognised as a boy genius as none of my teachers could write so brilliantly and at warp speed. I used to correct my teachers' grammer which may explain why they never erected a statue in my honour when I left for Universiti Malaya outside Kelantan. Of course I am delighted to return to unveil the statue anytime.
Anyway it is good feng shui to help talented young people as I was helped by an older man when I was in Universiti Malaya. I treated this guy like a chauffeur and banker and summoned him to pick, drop and occasionally wait for me. I also got pocket money from him so I lived like a lord and my MU days were among the best times of my life. But then again, every day is the best time of my life.
Since I don't even own a car, Shaun Tan cannot order me to chauffeur him around KL and it is more the other way around as he has a car! Of course having driven my benefactor almost to bankruptcy I make sure I am not treated as an ATM machine when I graduated and started working.
So now I am doing my good deed of the day and hope you will enjoy Shaun Tan's photos, beautifully presented to you by Kee Hua Chee, greatest journalist this side of the observable universe. In chronological order as the Glittering Glitterama Girls glowed on stage!

Kee Hua Chee in Keith Kee worth RM 10,000, Princess Becky Leogardo in RM 30,000 Escada and Dato' Lewre Lew in some designer suit

Kee Hua Chee with Y.L Loh, Dato Yaacob Arshad, host with the most Tan Sri Dato Othman Merican and Jeremy.

Grand ladies at the main table

A good looking couple joined them

Shawn Lee is all of 19 but he is a famous beat boxer!

Shawn Lee is 19 years old and looks like he weighs 19 kg as he is so scrawny

Shawn Lee ranks #9 in the Beatbox World Championship!

Datin Maylene Yong and Datin Connie Chan making the opening gambit

Followed by other Glitterama Girls

The group get bigger...

Emcee Raymond Goh seemed impervious to the scarlet women so he must be happily married

Datin Maylene's entrance was more dramatic than mine as she begun removing her clothes though she was not naked to our disappointment

She made it onto the stage from the floor and danced with The Dance Company which is Malaysia's best dance troupe

I must borrow their outfits as they looked smashing and so debonair

Let's hope her petition to heaven was granted

These senoritas looked sultry and sexy in their Spanish costumes replete with mantillas

Dato Janet Yeoh, mother of Dato' Michelle Yeoh the superstar actress, sang 2 popular Chinese songs to the applause from the audience

Everyone clapped in appreciation

Dato Janet Yeoh's rendition was a hit

Vanita Anand sang a Hindi hit

Swirling and twirling without the need of a coconut tree

This Bollywood star was originally from India and now resides here under Malaysia My Second Home programme

The Fab 4

Showing off their asses but Jennifer Lopez just emailed me to say she is not jealous nor threatened

Guest artiste Kenny Chin

Doreen Chan picking lucky draw winners. Princess Becky paid RM 100 and every couple at my table did the same but we did not win

Cheongsam contingent

Cheongsams are the world's most beautiful cultural costume and only the Chinese genius could have created such a design

No kimono or saree could come close

An evening of pure harmony by Glitterama Gals in lovely cheongsams

She does not look chinky but she really sang so she must be chinky then

Dramatic angle

Cheongsam charmers

High drama

Datin Maylene and Poon Sow Keng performing a duet

Datin Maylene and Poon Sow Keng. Poon is a famous Mandarin classic song singer

Carrie Lee, Miss Chinese Cosmos 2004 and Doreen Tan explaining the silent auction of jewel, watch, paintings and garden furniture

Showing the diamond watch

The bling was sponsored by Poh Kong, a great company that is always ready to help the less fortunate so buy from them ok!

Carrie Lee, Miss Chinese Cosmos 2004 looking stunning as usual

Puan Sri Datin Sylvia Merican, Miss Chinese Cosmos 2004 Carrie Lee and Princess Dr Becky Leogardo

Kee Hua Chee joined in for a closer look

This Glitterama Gal sizzling up the stage with The Dance Company, featuring the best dancers in Malaysia under Peter Choo

Keith Tan wowed the audience with his harmonica

Keith Tan's pants looked like they were about to split which added to his allure

I love his hair which looks like he fell in front of a lawn mower

Keith Tan is a world harmonica champion and tall as a model

The only snag about being a harmonica champion is no one gets to see what you infront or inside your mouth, unlike a guitar, violin, trombone, saxophone or piano

Now you can see Keith Tan's harmonica! A bit late though as his show's over

We share a fondness for feathers but my purple feather is bigger and longer and wider than his black one
THERE ARE STILL MANY GREAT PHOTOS SO I HAVE DECIDED TO HAVE PART 3!
