RM39 CNY SALE ZERO FUEL SURCHARGE AND UP TO 70% DISCOUNT FOR FLIGHT AND HOTEL PACKAGES
Firefly announces its Chinese New Year promotional fares that starts from RM39 all-in one-way fare to all of Firefly’s domestic destinations and the abolishment of fuel surcharges for all its fare classes. The limited five-day sale starts from 19 to 23 January 2015, and available for travel between 2 February and 24 October 2015.
Tickets for Firefly’s international destination start from RM99 all-in one-way fare for destinations such as Medan, Batam, Pekanbaru, Singapore and Krabi.
Firefly’s CEO, Ignatius Ong explains, “Firefly looks forward to bringing families closer during this festival and we’re pleased to announce that in addition to offering great promotional fares, we are also taking away the fuel surcharge for all our fare classes.
"Chinese New Year is a time when families get together to renew familial bonds and in a multi-racial country such as Malaysia, even those who don’t celebrate the new year will take advantage of the period to go home for a visit.”

The promotion is punctuated by an Instagram contest where contestants will be given an opportunity to win one of the 39 Mystery Boxes that are offered as prizes. The contest will run during the five (5) day campaign period - contestants are required to post a Chinese New Year themed photo or video on Instagram with a caption that best describes it.
Contestants are required to include the hashtag #fyaffair and tag @fireflyairlines. All photos and videos must be submitted on Instagram by 23 January 2015 before 11.59pm.
For those who commute via LRT, be on the lookout for the Firefly booth at Bangsar LRT Station, located next to the Ticketing Entry Point where you’ll be able to purchase flight tickets and Firefly’s merchandise including its latest best-selling item, an ATR-aircraft soft toy called Skyle.
