Outstanding Collection of Rare Timepieces Offered in
Antiquorum’s February Auction
Antiquorum Auctioneers, the world’s premier watch
auctioneers, is looking forward to its February 7th
auction of “Important
Modern & Vintage Timepieces” at the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong.
Collectors will have the opportunity to bid on 296 outstanding
timepieces. Previews
will be held in Taipei,
Bangkok, Singapore, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
Among the
highlights is a collection of rare Patek Philippe timepieces
including a Patek
Philippe Ref. 5016 in platinum featuring a unique double dial and
black and silver Roman numerals; a Ref. 3428 enamel dial
wristwatch in white gold; and a Ref. 5102 Celestial in white
gold.
Also offered are a number of unique and rare
exceptional timepieces, which include the highly collectible Harry Winston “Tourbillon a
Glissiere” Ref.350-MATRL, Jaeger-LeCoultre, “Piece
Unique Master Minute Repeater Venus” in pink gold and Vacheron
Constantin Set of Four Metiers D’Art Les Masques 2007.
The highlight of
the sale is the Patek
Philippe Ref. 5016 in platinum with unique double dial and black
and silver Roman numerals. Sold on June 29th,
2000.
This is an extremely fine, unique and important
minute-repeating, platinum wristwatch with one-minute tourbillon
regulator, retrograde perpetual calendar, moon phases, and a platinum
Patek Philippe buckle.
Accompanied by a Patek Philippe fitted box,
Certificate of Origin, COSC, extra silver dial, extra platinum
caseback, setting pin, and a leather folder with booklets.

a very fine and rare 18K white gold wristwatch with enamel dial and
an 18K white gold Patek Philippe buckle. It is only the 5th white
gold reference 3428 to appear on the market. Never offered at auction
before, with a perfect enamel dial and its original crown and cased
in white gold, is it undoubtedly one of the nicest waterproof
automatic Patek Philippe watches ever produced. Accompanied by the
