GREEN BECOMES PRECIOUS: THE VENTURER SMALL SECONDS XL PURITY FROM H. MOSER & CIE.

Neuhausen am Rheinfall

Cosmic green is the latest colour to be added to the H. Moser & Cie. collection. This audacious green, reminiscent of the jewel tones of the Northern Lights, continues in the spirit of the famed Funky Blue dial which has become both the brand's signature, and key to its reputation.

This colourway is featured on the Venturer Small Seconds XL Purity, an elegant watch which, at 43 mm, has the largest diameter offered by H. Moser & Cie.

With a distinctive character, it advocates a return to the essential, illustrating the minimalist philosophy that "Less is More" with a dial that has no logo and features only the 4 main indices. Once again, H. Moser & Cie. has proven that authenticity can provide a power and dynamism which is rarely achieved.

Taking the best from the Concept Series and the other H. Moser watch families, the dial on the Venturer Small Seconds XL Purity features indices at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock. The logo is still absent, demonstrating the power of an iconic product: one glance at the fumé dial is enough to recognise the elegant yet sexy aesthetic of an H. Moser watch.

The beauty of the fumé dial shines through, unimpeded, further enhanced by the domed sapphire crystal, the exquisite bezel and the 43 mm diameter. As custom in haute horlogerie, and a tradition for H. Moser & Cie. watches since 1828, the company signature and hallmark appear on the movement side, a subtle reminder of its heritage.

H. Moser & Cie. enjoys combining design cues to create an unexpected effect. To subtly offset the classicism of the Venturer Small Seconds XL Purity, a raw kudu leather strap has been chosen to add a rugged touch to the watch.

This shrewd choice by H. Moser & Cie. creates a classical model in the Haute Horlogerie style, but one designed for a modern audience, mavericks with their finger on the pulse of our times, looking for a compelling watch unlike any other.

At the heart of the Venturer Small Seconds XL Purity, with the convex shapes typical of the 1960s and design inspired by historic H. Moser pocket watches, beats an HMC 327 hand-wound Manufacture calibre. Visible through the sapphire case-back, the movement has a power reserve of at least 3 days which is shown in an indicator on the reverse side of the watch.

The Venturer Small Seconds XL Purity Cosmic Green is available in a limited edition of 50 pieces.
