THEIR REAL BIRTHDAY WAS 1 JUNE SO TECHNICALLY THEY ARE 368 DAYS OLD!
GLORIA AND RAPHAEL MANTZ ARE OLDER THAN MY ADOPTED FRENCH SON DEDIONE THE REINCARNATE OF THE DEAD DEDIONE! BABY DEDIONE, BOUGHT FOR ME AT PETS WONDERLAND AT MIDVALLEY BY PRINCESS DR BECKY LEOGARDO WHO PAID RM 2,288 ON 7 MAY 2011, 3 DAYS AFTER THE OLD DEDIONE WENT TO HEAVEN.
BABY DEDIONE WAS BORN ON 24 MARCH 2011 AND SO IS NOW ONLY 2 MONTHS 10 DAYS OLD! TWINS GLORIA AND RAPHAEL MANTZ, WHO ARE 1 YEAR OLD TODAY, ARE OLDER BY AROUND 10 MONTHS.
My son Dedione Kee is younger than the twins as he is only 2 months 10 days
Dedione Kee is the world's cutest puppy!!
Princess Dr Becky Leogardo and Michael Mantz requested no toys be given since their house already resembles Toys R Us and I can hardly enter the kids play areas and rooms which occupies an area bigger than most condos due to the toys and gigantic railway set. So those who insisted on giving a little something gave angpows which Princess Dr Becky swore on the Holy Bible she would deposit in the twins' savings acounts. With compouded interest, by the time the twins are 18, they should be millionaires. Already their 4 year old brother Daniel has cash savings in his account that run into 6 digits and is richer than me, his godfather! This is good news as I can borrow money from my godson Daniel Mantz when he reaches 21 and there is nothing his parents can do to stop him from giving his beloved godfather (that's me) cash so I don't starve in my old age.
Around a hundred guests arrived to wish the twins happy birthday and enjoy a fun Saturday afternoon. Of course the dress code was simple and casual. The guys were asked to wear blue and ladies were supposed to come in pink. Most did so dutifully as it is so easy for men to find something blue in their wardrobe, like blue denims! And all women for sure have something pink in their cupboards!
As for me, I could not decide what colour suited me so as usual, I opted for both! Why choose one colour when could wear TWO colours! So I wore a pink sequin shirt and blue pants with my face painted on my groin and on my ass so people could admire my face front and back. Of course I would be sitting on my own face but better me than someone else doing that!
Naturally I was the Master of Ceremony too since I am so good at talking and ad-libbing and controlling the crowd. By the way, the birthday twins are my godtwins together with Daniel so it was both an honour and pleasure to emcee the party.
After I welcomed the guests on behalf of the hosts, Michael Mantz gave a speech followed by the candle blowing and cake cutting ceremony. It was simple, lovely and meaningful as Princess Dr Becky Leogardo and Michael Mantz with the nannies and birthday twins and Daniel on stage.
As expected, Grand Millennium rolled out a sumptuous feast replete with a Pasta Station manned by a chef who cooked varieties of pasta with different sauces. There was so much food we had to bring them home!
Of course there were presents galore for the kids. Each child went home with at least 2 gifts and I saw many carting back half a dozen presents! Even so, Princess Becky's staff had to bring home a huge box of extra presents all beautifully wrapped.
There were dancing contests conducted by Jojo the Clown and I with prizes for all contestants. The best dancer was Brando Gabrielli, the son of HE the Italian ambassador Mr Fulco Gabrielli who did a breakdance routine on stage to everyone's astonishment and admiration.
Another contest featured a child with a parent. Initially there was no response. So I announced, "I always assume the kids have parents but now it seems like they are orphans..." The prompted the parents to quickly join their children on stage!
Another fun contest was Mummy Wrap. No the mothers were not wrapped but the child was! Each adult had to wrap the kid with a roll of toilet paper (unused!) as creatively as possible! Think of the movie 'The Mummy' starring Brandon Fraser and you get the drift.
The last was Treasure Hunt. The first kid to deliver the item I requested won a prize. For instance, a 5 sen coin, car keys, bangle, hat, white shoes etc. All very easy-peesy and fun.
The finale was the Best Dressed Awards for 6 Boys and 6 Girls. Michael Mantz and Daniel Mantz did the honours by presenting the awards.
Everyone had a gala time and went home fully fed and laden with gifts.
THE END
