BLOOD DONATION DRIVE AT LIFE CENTRE SEEKS DONORS

In line with its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, Life Centre will be organizing a Blood Donation Drive 2015 in collaboration with Bertcomm Media & Productions Sdn Bhd from 11.00am – 4.00pm on 25 March 2015 at the Concourse of Life Centre.

The event marks Life Centre’s effort in carrying out benevolent activities by helping Pusat Darah Negara (National Blood Centre of Malaysia) to replenish blood supplies to help save lives. The Blood Donation Drive is open for the participation of Life Centre’s staff, diners and staff from participating F & B outlets at Life Centre and members of the public.

According to James Ng, Director of Life Centre, “Life Centre is proud to organize this Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative to create awareness and empathy towards the sick, less fortunate and the needy in the community.

We are happy that we can contribute towards the betterment of our community and that everyone has a chance to save a life by donating blood voluntarily.” Said James.

A team consisting of a doctor, nurses and staff from Pusat Darah Negara (National Blood Centre of Malaysia) will be present to conduct the Blood Donation Drive by bringing all the necessary equipment. Donors have to be 18 years and above. Those below 18 years are required to have their parents’ consent.

Potential donors will be required to have medical checks on their blood type, blood pressure and iron content before they are deemed fit to donate blood.  All donors will be provided with nutritious snacks, souvenir button badge and dining vouchers from Life Centre and Bertcomm.
