Van Gogh, Dali and Beyond: The World Reimagined, Now until December 2
The Art Gallery of WA's third exhibition from New York's Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), Van Gogh,
Dalí and Beyond: The World Reimagined, runs until December 2. This Australian-exclusive exhibition
features 134 master works by 96 artists - from Frida Kahlo's confident self-portrait to Gerhard
Richter's blurred likeness; from Paul Cézanne's iconic table top still life to Jeff Koons' shiny
commodities; from Vincent van Gogh's rolling olive trees to Richard Long's land art – providing a
break from tradition and inventing radical new forms that transformed the art of the twentieth century.

City of Perth Winter Arts Season, Now till August 31
Western Australia's Art Gallery
The Winter Arts Season offers nearly 200 events from Western Australia's leading and up-and-coming
arts organisations, venues and independent artists.The ninth annual, and biggest season yet, offers
theatre, film, comedy, opera, literature, dance, music, visual arts, poetry, cabaret and circus, plus free
and family events - some one-offs, many inexpensive, and in newly uncovered parts of the city.

CinéfestOz, 21 to 25 August
In its sixth year, CinéfestOz showcases the best of Australian and French films over a five-day event.
The festival draws a diverse audience and attracts filmmakers and actors from around Australia.

Perth Fashion Festival, 11 to 16 September
Perth is fast becoming a fashion hot spot and with iconic events like the Perth Fashion Festival there’s

Shinju Matsuri meaning Festival of the Pearl is a celebration of the unique culture, history and
diversity of Broome, a 2.5 hour flight from Perth. With the resurrection of Sammy the Dragon, join the
Broome community in experiencing the ‘Staircase to the Moon’ and many other activities. The
Opening Ceremony, Float Parades, Mardi Gras and Carnival of Nations, Art Awards, Pets in the
Park, Senior Citizens Morning Tea, Closing Ceremony and Fireworks are all free for everyone to
attend.
