JOSH LIM OF THE NEWLY ESTABLISHED ALLDAY MEDIA HOSTED A BL0GGERS' BASH AT MUKHA CAFE IN TAMAN TUN DR ISMAIL. AT FIRST I THOUGHT 'MUKHA' WAS 'MUKA' AS IN 'FACE' BUT WAS TOLD MUKHA WAS A FAMOUS TRADING TOWN IN ANCIENT YEMEN WHERE PEOPLE CAME TO BUY AND SELL AND WAS A CENTRE OF COMMERCE. COFFEE WAS A MAJOR COMMODITY AS WELL AS SPICES, FOOD AND ALL SORTS OF HOUSEHOLD ITEMS. SO 'MUKHA' WAS A COOL NAME FOR A MODERN WATERING HOLE WHERE FOLKS COME FOR FOOD, REFRESHMENTS AND TO KEEP UP WITH FRIENDS!
Allday Media and Advertlets booked the entire restaurant and there was nonstop food and drinks. Josh Lim is now handling Allday Media and Rosalyn is now looking after Advertlets' bloggers so I guess I will have to be nicer to her now that she is so de powderful...
There was a Best Dressed Contest for men and women and of course I won! I wore a RM 950 Keith Kee shirt, RM 42,000 of jewels and RM 1,800 Dolce & Gabbana pants and fabulous Adidas shoes by Jeremy Scott that cost RM 820 so I think I deserved to win after such an investment to outshine everyone!
My prize was a spiffy TANK stereo headphone by Drew Murphy which is limited edition but cost less than a RM 1,000 so I suffered a massive loss as my Keith Kee shirt is already more costly than my prize but who is calculating?
My female counterpart Nannie Isa wore a colourful blouse but did not invest much otherwise. Nannie and I certainly made a beautiful couple but I was more glittery since I looked like a Christmas tree!
