Nile Rodgers

Nile Rodgers is an American musician, composer and guitarist, and is considered one of the most influential producers in the history of popular music, having produced (and played guitar on) albums such as Madonna’s “Like A Virgin”, David Bowie’s “Let’s Dance”, Diana Ross’s “Diana”, Duran Duran’s “Notorious”, INXS’s “Original Sin” as well as albums by Mick Jagger, Eric Clapton, the B 52’s, Earth Wind and Fire and Peter Gabriel. His band Chic is famous for the triple-platinum disco anthem “Le Freak” and as a composer he wrote hits like “We Are Family.” His first band “the Big Apple Band” opened for the Jackson Five in 1973 on its first world tour and he has been a dominant force in music ever since.

Chung Chun-To, better known as Kenny Bee, is a Hong Kong singer, musician and actor. He is well-known as a member of the Hong Kong English pop and cantopop band the Wynners, and as a solo artist who has been active in the Hong Kong entertainment industry for nearly three decades.

Beija-Flor – ‘humming bird’ in Portuguese – is the top rated samba school from Rio de Janeiro and was recently crowned world champions in the samba competition of the Rio Carnival. With this dance force at the top of its game, carnival-goers can expect nothing short of unrivalled hedonistic fun.

“Both the Samba Party and Copacabana Charity Ball will certainly be nights to remember and we are thrilled to have international stars to be our performing guests along with the other thrilling entertainment programs over the weekend. All funds raised from the Copacabana dinner and various activities throughout the Carnival will be matched by Sands China Ltd and will go to support The Welfare Fund for Poverty and Singly Parent Member of Women’s General Association of Macau,” said President and Chief Operating Officer of Sands China Ltd. Mr. Edward Tracy.

So, come party, dance, eat, drink and socialize while supporting the community in Macao’s biggest bash ever.
