The Pavilion store Bread & Butter's biggest flagship store in Asia and high time too as owner, founder and director Steven CH Goh is from Seremban and now he is a major fashion force.
Bread & Butter's main bread and butter is denim, all textures and shades, from buttery soft to medium strength to hard core! Bread & Butter is a multi-brand concept and offers all the hottest must-haves from Evisu, True Religion, 7 For All Mankind, Affliction, Citizens of Humanity, Paige Premium, J Brand, Habitual, Siwy, GAS, Revival, Ami James Ink, Adriano Goldschmied, Denim, Hudson, Automobil Lamborghini, and Nudie Jeans so for the first time, you can stock up on all your favourite jeans under one roof instead of traipsing all over town.
Bread & Butter is a denim dream come true. This season, the trend is darker blues treated with sandpaper for that raw and edgy pleasing to the touch or heavier but still discreet, infused with darns and mends.
Bright spots and splashes of colour add interest and focus. I especially like the jeans, denim shirts and jackets that come with colourful rainbow patches.
The T shirts are easy to wear and cool enough for a semi-formal do. The clothes not only look comfy and tropical climate-friendly but use high quality fabrics which explain the prices. Not cheap but not plastic-melting either. But very prestigious and investment-worthy as denims and jeans are the sort you wear for years on end and to bed too as they are so comfy.
The models' hair was done by Miko Hair Salon while guests drowned glasses of ABSOLUT Vodka Blanl Edition, a limited edition bottle designed by German artist Mario Wagner.
Music was spun by DJ Hypembeats with DJ Jee Hoe on deck. Beautiful emcee was Krista Kleiner, former Miss Philippines who may soon be Mrs Patrick Grove. I met Krista at Chengdu for the Miss International grand finals on 7 November 2010 where she won Best in Talent and Miss Expressive. She was one of the top five finalists.
I was in Chengdu, China to support Miss Malaysia Chantelle Chuah and guess who was her room-mate? Yes, Krista Kleiner! What a happy coincidence! Last May 2012 I was in Manila with Princess Dr Becky Leogardo to watch Lady Gaga in concert and who should I meet but Krista! And now she is based in Kuala Lumpur as her bf Patrick Grove owns Prestige magazine so she is taken, boys.
Krista is not just a pretty face but is a recording artiste, TV host, model, actress and beauty queen. Go buy her best-selling album 'Double Trouble' which could describe me.
