FIREFLY MOUNTS EXTRA FLIGHTS FOR HARI RAYA HAJI
To meet the demand for flights this coming Hari Raya Haji season, Firefly
will mount additional flights between Subang and Kota Bharu. These additional
flights will be on 25 and 29 October 2012.
According
to Firefly’s Chief Executive Officer, Ignatius Ong, “Historical pattern of this
route typically indicates that the demand for flights during the Muslim festive
seasons has always been high. Based on our advance sales figures, this year the
demand has been even more so. We reckon that people are now looking for smarter
travel options, and air travel is faster, safer, comfortable and more
convenient than driving. This in return will allow travellers to savour more
quality time at their destination."
The
additional flights are available for sale now in Firefly’s website and
customers are urged to buy their tickets quickly as seats are being taken up at
a swift pace.
What’s
more, Firefly offers all passengers the convenience of complimentary 20kg
checked baggage allowance and in-flight refreshment, 30 minute check-in buffer,
web check-in facility, as well as the accessibility of city airports – all
essential conveniences for busy individuals travelling during a peak period.
“This
year, Hari Raya Haji will be falling on a long weekend, therefore with our
expedient flight timings to Kota Bharu as well as to all other destinations, we
are expecting encouraging response from celebrating Muslims eager to return to
their respective hometowns for a reunion with families and friends, as well as
those taking advantage of the short break.
"We
look forward to flying everyone safely and promptly to their destination. To
all Muslims, we wish you a blessed and joyous Hari Raya Haji ahead,” he ended.
Firefly
is currently offering an all-in, one-way promotion starting from RM55 for
domestic and selected regional destinations. The airline is also offering a
great deal starting from RM95 to Hat Yai, its latest destination. Booking
period is from now till 14 Oct, for travel from now to 15 December 2012. These
promotional seats, which are limited and subject to availability, can be
purchased from Firefly’s website www.fireflyz.com.my,
Mobile App, call centre, airport and city ticketing offices, as well as travel
agents.
