What’s Up Pussycat? Le Bristol Paris Welcomes Far-Raon’s New Girlfriend- Kléopatre Far-Raon now purring with happiness as he finds feline love with new Birman kitten, Kléopatre
Le
Bristol Paris is pleased to announce the welcome addition of Kléopatre, a
beautiful female Birman Cat who will live alongside the hotels famous feline
resident, Fa-Raon. Her arrival heralds an increase in the Le Bristol Paris
family and has made a recently despondent Fa-Raon purr with newfound
happiness.
Since her arrival Fa-Raon has taken Kléopatre on a discovery tour of the hotel's corridors and sumptuous lounges, for strolls through the French gardens, and even shares his favourite corner with her: the concierge’s counter! Kléopatre has already proved herself to be a firm favourite amongst guests due to her loving and friendly nature. On most days the elegant female cat can be found playing games with tiny toddlers, happily being stroked by passing guests or exploring Le Bristol Paris’s beautiful garden - Le Jardin Francais, purring all the while. Kléopatre will also not be short of gifts now that she is in residence at Le Bristol Paris. For Fa-Raon's third birthday last year, Maison Goyard presented him with a sumptuous "Oscar" bow-tie collar in black leather and canvas, as well as a bowl-holder made of poplar wood both customized with his name in green lettering and fuchsia-coloured shading, to match the signature colours of Le Bristol Paris. As with Fa-Raon, this prestigious company will also give Kléopatre an "Oscar" bow-tie collar with a customized silver medal created by Christofle. And finally, Kléopatre and Fa-Raon will have the immense pleasure of seeing their apartment at Le Bristol Paris decorated by the artist Renk. This world-renowned street artist will cover the walls with the word "cat", written in different languages, as well as the names of these two adorable feline friends. Didier Le Calvez, CEO of Le Bristol states: "I am delighted that Kléopatre will be keeping Fa-Raon company. Her gentleness and serenity will benefit him, as well as our guests and staff. From now on, both cats will watch over the exceptional destiny of this leading Parisian palace hotel." M. Le Calvez continues: “All of our guests love Le Bristol Paris’ cats. Perhaps this is because cats symbolise so many things for so many cultures. In Europe, for example, cats represent life, movement and freedom. In the United States, they are associated with independence, courage and patience and in Asia, cats tend to symbolise peace, fortune and family serenity.” Located in the heart of the Golden Triangle in Paris, Le Bristol Paris boasts a large French garden, a pool overlooking the rooftops of Paris and a restaurant with 4 stars in the Michelin guide. In April 2014, Le Bristol became the first palace hotel to have completed an extensive renovation programme.
