PlusOne Members strike by lucky star bringing home Sony 46” Internet TVs
On 6 December 2012, 50 Senheng PlusOne
members were blessed by their lucky star today when they each won a Sony 46” Internet
TV sponsored by Senheng and its partners – Sony, AEON Credit Cards and Hong Leong Bank. The quartet had jointly
organized the “Your Amazing Hero Shop and Win Contest" which was held in conjunction with the release of the blockbuster movie, 'The Amazing
Spiderman'.
With just a minimum purchase
of RM999, Senheng PlusOne members were entitled to take part in the contest exclusive only to Senhemg PlusOne members and not normal customers. In addition, customers could also buy the unique 'The Amazing Spiderman' merchandises like shoes, bag, umbrella, travel bag
and carpet. For members who purchased Sony products or made payment through AEON
easy payment or Hong Leong Bank credit cards, their chances of winning were tripled!
The contest was held from
1st June to 31st August 2012 with more than 300, 000
entry forms submitted. Fourteen percent of the entry forms came from
the purchases of Sony products, 25% of the entry forms through AEON Easy Payment Scheme and 6% were charged through Hong Leong Bank credit cards. The 50 winners were by chance equally distributed between the genders, with 25 males and 25 females.
There were 36 Malays, 12 Chinese and 2 from other races. Most
of the winners came from Selangor which consist of 18 winners, followed by
Johor with 8 winners, Perak with 7 winners, Sabah with 4 winners, Negeri
Sembilan and Pahang with 3 winners, Sarawak and Kedah with 2 winners and
finally 1 from Melaka, Kelantan and Kuala Lumpur each.
The contest has contributed
greatly to Senheng’s sales. The
total sales has grown 21% compared to the same period last year with total sales of RM 271 million. Sony’s sales increased by 14% to RM 24 million and
AEON by 25% to RM 47 million throughout the three months' campaign.
