A Brilliant Tiffany Holiday tAKES CENTER stage iN hONg kONG
Renowned Jeweler celebrates 175th Anniversary

Tiffany & Co. marks 175 year of design legacy this year, and to celebrate this occasion the internationally renowned jeweler will host a series of holiday festivities in Hong Kong for the second consecutive year.

Centered on the theme “A Brilliant Tiffany Holiday”, a tree lighting ceremony was held at the Statue Square on November 23, 2012 at 6:30pm. Mr. Stéphane Lafay, Group Vice President, Head of Asia-Pacific and Japan, The Hon James Tien Chairman of Hong Kong Tourism Board,  Mrs. Johanna Arculli Chairman of the Executive Committee, Helping Hand  and the Charity Ambassador of the event  Mr. Jacky Cheung, were there to participate in the enchanting lighting ceremony. The lighting of an 18-meter Tiffany Christmas Tree is the centerpiece of additional holiday treats and activities that took place at the site. Celebrities including Mr. Ronald Arculli, Ms. Daisy Ho, Ms. Sabrina Ho, Ms. Fanny Sieh, Ms. Cissy Wang, Ms. Janet Ma, Ms. Cara G., Mr. Jesper Mcilroy, Ms. Lea Tassova, Ms. Hoyan Mok, Ms. Winnie Chiu, Ms. Josephine Chiu, Ms. Anina Ho, Mrs. Jacqueline Liu and Wendy Ye also participate in the event and take part in the activities.

“A Brilliant Tiffany Holiday” is open to the public from November 24, 2012 through January 1, 2013.  The giant Christmas tree, decorated with a variety of ornaments, Tiffany Blue Boxes and strings of pearls, will greet visitors with holiday cheer.  An enchanting 24-seat carousel will add to the fairytale Christmas atmosphere.

Merriment awaits the young and young at heart at Tiffany Funland, where activities include crafting Tiffany coloring cards, Christmas ornaments, or even a personalized snow globe. Tiffany also offers a wonderful holiday tradition for the true romantics where lovers can express their vows to each other or make a wish at the Bridge of True Love.

Visitors will be able to take photos with Santa Claus in a life size Tiffany Blue Box.  On December 22-23, the Box will become the setting for a storybook corner inspired by the fabled carousel in New York’s Central Park.   For those with a sweet tooth, a Tiffany Candy Shop will be on site offering delicious custom-made Tiffany candies.

Proceeds from tickets sales to these activities will be donated to Helping Hand.

Established in 1978, Helping Hand is a local registered charity looking after over 800 needy elderly, at any given time in our seven residential homes including one in Zhaoqing, China.  We also operate a holiday centre, a day care centre as well as community support services.
