MADAME NILOU, WIFE OF THE ITALIAN AMBASSADOR TO MALAYSIA HIS EXCELLENCY MR FOLCO DE LUCA GABRIELLI GRACIOUSLY LENT THEIR RESIDENCE IN AMPANG HILIR AS THE VENUE FOR THE SPOUSES OF HEADS OF MISSIONS MALAYSIA (SOHOM) CHARITY BAZAAR ON 5 MAY 2012, JUST 1 DAY AFTER THE ITALIAN NATIONAL DAY PARTY AT RENAISSANCE BALLROOM.
Around 500 friends and supporters like Princess Dr Becky Leogardo and myself went to Jalan Penggawa Ampang Hilir to buy deliciously baked cakes, cookies, biscuits, toys, crafts, original paintings, jewellery and food and more food.
There were around 20 booths form the various embassies stocked with all sorts of goodies and crafts from their countries so it was a very authentic bazaar. Not as grand as the one in Istanbul but very pleasant.
All money raised has gone towards the good works carried out by the Spouses of Heads of Missions Malaysia or SOHOM for short.
