SCHEVENINGEN THE SEASIDE GETAWAY 15 MINUTES FROM THE HAGUE

KEE@FSWMAG.COM
MICHAEL MANTZ DROVE HIS WIFE PRINCESS DE BECKY LEOGARDO, KIDS DANIEL AND GLORIA, THEIR NANNY LINDA AND KEE HUA CHEE TO SCHEVENINGEN WHICH IS A SEASIDE RESORT A SHORT DRIVE FROM THE HAGUE!

As it was a wonderful, bright and sunny day, the beach was jam-packed with Hagueans and the odd tourist from Malaysia. Luckily the beach was extremely long so there was plenty of room for everyone as sunseekers staked a place on the sands.

Everywhere you go, you cannot escape the souvenir shops!
The famous pier and promenade of Scheveningen
Simonis is extremely famous for its seafood and reasonable prices so is very popular. It has several branches

Being Dutch, Michael Mantz enjoys raw herring sandwich which I would rather swim naked from The Hague to Langkawi than eat
The stunning pier that is an architectural masterpiece though the spaceship-like centrepiece is closed and the pier is for sale

Daniel, Michael and Gloria Mantz staking out their place in the sun as the kids start building sandcastles before going for a dip

Kee Hua Chee enjoys the sand, sea, sun and shops

The long promenade of Scheveningen is filled with restaurants, bars and cafes offering food from across the globe

This is El Bully, not El Bulli the world famous fine dining, super expensive restaurant!

 Thai food

 Latest fashion? Or maybe not

Don't drink too much as you walk as public toilets cost RM 2! Even local eateries charge the same or even 1 euro unless you are dining on the premises

I like the message!

I am such an artistic photographer!
