time IRONMAN World Champion and two time IRONMAN 70.3 World

race after his efforts at the IRONMAN Asia-Pacific Championship
Melbourne on March 23. One of the world’s most respected athletes
in the sport delivered an amazing effort in Melbourne and the
effects took a toll on the 41 year old body of Alexander.. This
impacted his preparation for Putrajaya physically and for the heat
and humid conditions. "I really didn't want to miss out on
coming over to Putrajaya for this amazing inaugural race and
meeting the Malaysian triathletes. It is definitely going to be
different and lots of fun to take part in a relay team and have the
chance to cheer everyone one on.” – Craig Alexander.
wanting to disappoint his fans in Malaysia, Alexander will still be
standing on the start line, only this time it will be in unfamiliar
territory as he takes part in the relay team event under “Team
