AUDEMARS PIGUET LAUNCHES NEW VARIATIONS OF ROYAL OAK OFFSHORE 42 MM COLLECTION!

KEE@FSWMAG.COM
I own 2 Audemars Piguet including my alltime favourite the 32mm Royal Oak diamond in solid gold! The entire bezel is covered with diamonds and the markers are in rubies. I bought it a decade ago for RM 152,000 and it is one of my best investments ever as it continues to look brand new and a courant! So, like Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh, I am a big fan of Audemars Piguet!

Set amidst the lush greenery of Asiatique Collections in Dempsey, the 6 new iterations of the Royal Oak Offshore 42mm were launched.

More than 150 enthusiasts of the collection, together with like-minded Ferrari owners, enjoyed an epic "Offshore" evening, surrounded by the rich history of the collection's 20 glorious years since the birth of the 1st Royal Oak Offshore in 1993.

37 unique retrospective timepieces from the Royal Oak Offshore 42mm collection were exhibited in celebration of the legendary collection. The 6 new iterations were subsequently unveiled by Managing Director of Audemars Piguet, Asia - Mr. Oliviero Bottinelli.

The celebration of the Royal Oak Offshore 42mm collection was a week-long affair. Collectors of the brand from the Ferrari Owners’ Club, Cortina Watch, Sincere Fine Watches, and The Hour Glass, were invited over several evenings for the unveiling of the collection.

First introduced in 1993, most would not have entertained the idea of a 42mm watch in the early Nineties. Nicknamed “The Beast” due to its staggering proportions then, it is now truly unleashed. The Royal Oak Offshore line has been one of Audemars Piguet’s primary platforms for innovative case materials and daring design choices exhibited through the 118 variations of the 42mm that have been created over the last two decades – 37 variations of which were displayed at the launch event in Asiatique Collections over a week.

As Audemars Piguet rejoices in the year of the Royal Oak Offshore, the novelties serve to highlight the brand's ongoing commitment to technical progression, embodying the Manufacture's motto "to break the rules, you must first master them".
