SHANGRI-LA HOTEL, KUALA LUMPUR
CELEBRATES LONG SERVICE STAFF IN AWARDS CEREMONY
Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur recently
presented the Staff Service Award to 55 staff members who have been with the
hotel for 10, 15, 20 and 25 years. The awards ceremony serves as a symbol of
recognition for the staff, their achievements, dedication and loyal support
throughout their tenure with the hotel.
Mr. Manfred Weber, general manager of Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala
Lumpur, officiated the awards ceremony, where a total of 55 staff members were
rewarded for their long service.
He presented five staff members with 25 years of service with a
service certificate, service pin, gold pendant (14 grams) worth RM2,170 and a
food and beverage voucher worth RM1,000 valid at either Lemon Garden Cafe or
Shang Palace.
Eight staff members who completed 20 years of service received a
service certificate, service pin and a gold pendant (12 grams) worth RM1,860.
Fifteen staff members who have served 15 years received a service
certificate, service pin and a gold pendant (10 grams) worth RM1,550.
A service certificate, service pin and a gold pendant (6 grams)
worth RM930 were presented to the 27 staff members who have served the hotel
for 10 years.
A grand dinner, the awards presentation by Mr Weber, and an
entertaining performance by Dee the Diva were in the programme for the evening
which ended on a high note.
