CAN YOU IMAGINE THE AGELESS, HANDSOME AND IMMACULATELY GARBED JAMES BOND IS NOW 50 YEARS OLD? AS GOOD AS RETIREMENT AGE AND ENROUTE TO BEING PUT OUT TO PASTURE TO REMINISCE ABOUT HIS DARING DERRING-DOS OVER THE DECADES!

Of course the original and many say still the best James Bond aka Sean Connery is today in his 70s since presumably he was in his 20s when he first starred as the agent with a license to kill courtesy of Her Majesty Government.

Since then there have been plenty of successors from famous names like Pierce Brosnan and the current hunk Daniel Craig to an unknown (who has remained unknown!) star called George Lazenby. Others who are still on the radar are Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton. So far there are only 6 James Bond incarnations but 007 shows no sign of abating!

Now there will be a major auction of all the iconic products, items, equipment, accessories and dresses worn by the stars who appeared in the movies over the last 5 decades.

The loot will be auctioned by Christie's South Kensington in London (where else can it be?) from 28 September till 8 October (online).

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of James Bond on film, Christie’s announces 50 Years of James Bond – The Auction which will present a unique opportunity to acquire a piece of Bond memorabilia direct from the archives of EON Productions. Below highlights for your easy reference.

·         10 further lots to be auctioned at an invite-only evening event on October 5 at Christie’s South Kensington celebrating Global James Bond Day.
