Message from the President – Billy Lim
"The Malaysian Hairdressing
Association (MHA) was founded eight years ago. It is getting to be increasingly
active and important for the local hairdressing industry.
We’ve ridden an exciting
wave of development and growth in 2013. These activities have included the MHA
Committee Hair Show, the International Hairdressing Awards, the OMC Education
Seminar, the Young Hairdresser Award, the MHA Annual Gala Night, the Launching
of Salon Star-Rating Standard, the Launch of the MHA Hair Collection Book, the
Training of the Worldskills Participant, the list goes on. We’re concentrating
more intently on being the most active association in Malaysia. Raising the bar
on hairdressing to be more professional is our mission.
So as we work each day
building our hairdressing profession and business, we hope every
hairdresser and those who trade in the hairdressing industry, will take to
heart MHA’s true purpose. The importance lies in how well we help each other
realise the vital necessity of cooperation with those connected and related to
the hairdressing industry."
