IFTC STUDENTS AT PALAIS ROYALE TO CHECK OUT THE STORES RECOMMENDED BY OLIVIER ROUX SUCH AS DIDIER LUDOT,

KEE@FSWMAG.COM
I TOOK IFTC STUDENTS TO PALAIS ROYALE TO CHECK OUT THE 3 STORES RUN BY DIDIER LUDOT INCLUDING HIS OWN BOUTIQUE SPECIALISING IN LITTLE BLACK DRESSES!

Didier Ludot is among the most famous vintage stores in Paris and you can find the most astonishing couture creations from yesteryears in his stores spread over Palais Royale.

Palais Royale is a quiet, secluded, royal garden right in the heart of Paris and 5 minutes from Louvre museum yet it could almost be in the countryside!

The courtyard is famous for the black and white stumps while the formal garden with roses, flowering plants and formal layout of trees is a mini Luxembourg Garden!

The shops that line the 3 sides are small, exclusive and expensive so this is a secret known only to the rich and famous! The Shiseido store here only sells perfumes by Serge Lutens that easily costs over RM 1,000 a bottle!

I saw a Chanel jacket at Didier Ludot and it cost 5,500 and it must be maybe 10 years old!

But in another vintage shop, I saw a Chanel crocodile handbag for only RM 48,000 which was a steal considering a Hermes Birkin costs RM 170,000 at Pavilion KL! And this Chanel crocodile bag was big and roomy!

I also made friend with a multi-millionaire who lives here in Palais Royale! He was out walking his two Persian hounds and told me the smaller one is the daughter of the bigger one. "The father lives in Italy and I flew there with her for the wedding!" he grinned!

The black and white stumps are world famous
