DR MARTENS SHOES ARE COPIED ENDLESSLY WHY SETTLE FOR FAKES WHEN YOU DESERVE THE ORIGINALS.
A pair of Dr Martens is not cheap by any standards since they cost at least RM 450 for a decent pair and the ones I like are over RM 600 but if you convert them into pound sterling then it is around 120 pounds which is what you will pay in London!
Dr Martens last forever and many fans swear the pair they bought two decades ago are still in great condition and indeed looking even better with the signs of the passage of time!
Anyway, here are my favourite Dr Martens. Actually I cannot make up my mind so the best solution is to feature all! Like fight temptation when it is so much more pleasurable and intoxicating to give in!
In fact there are some new Dr Martens that looked aged as if worn for donkey's years! They even have the scuffed, scruffy and scratched marks accrued naturally over the decade! So now your brand new Dr Martens can look like you have been wearing them since 2000! Exactly like your faded, stone-washed jeans with built-in shreds and holes!

Dr. Martens set up second retail outlet in Malaysia just in time for Christmas
Setting up its second store just in time for Christmas, Dr.
Martens officially opened its doors at Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur. Located on the
5th floor with over 998sq feet dedicated to the iconic British footwear, the
outlet is complete with this season’s collection, housing the exclusive ‘Made
In England’ range, Refine, Re Invented and Rugged collections to name a few.
Adding
edge to the opening was a special appearance and performance by local rock
legend Amy Search and Bunkface, who embody the persona of Dr. Martens fashion
and lifestyle.
“Although
we are a relatively new establishment in Malaysia, we are indeed honoured to
open our second outlet after
The Gardens Mall in Mid Valley. Malaysians are
fast growing to fashion trends and influences from around the world and we are
grateful to be a part of that growing trend,” said Robert Lim, Managing Director
of Stream Enterprise (M) Sdn Bhd, the official distributor of Dr. Martens.
“We
also wanted to be part of the festive spirit in celebration of the opening of
our second store. Fans and customers can also look forward to the upcoming
Spring 2014 collection that will be on the show racks soon,” continued Robert
Lim.
Dr.
Martens first started of as a homage to the Bristish working class with boots
styled to mimick the working man and has since evolved and adopted in various
subcultures, bringing together the: mods, glam, punks, ska, psychobillies,
grebos, goths, industrialists, nu-metal, hardcore, straight-edge and grunge
into a league of extraordinary individuals.
Known
for its ‘AirWair’ cushioning, detailed stiching and craftsmanship, Dr. Martens
then soon established itself as an iconic footwear symbol of a diverse array of
ideologies, and forms of expressions, which became an immediate fashion
statement, worn by celebrities, rebels and punks alike.

_ABOUT DR.
MARTENS
Throughout Dr.
Martens history, the brand has been adopted and subverted by countless
rebellious characters, subcultures and tribes. These are the people who stand
out from the crowd in their own unique way and for many, their journey of self-
expression has always been accompanied by a pair of Doc’s. Dr. Martens
celebrates these free-thinking individuals – from first time wearers to those
who have been with the brand forever. These are the authentic characters that
stand Dr. Martens air-cushioned sole, designed by German inventor, Dr. Klaus
Maertens, was engineered primarily to meet the
The Dr. Martens
boot, manufactured by R Griggs and Co, British boot makers, with its trademark
yellow stitch, grooved sole and heel-loop, was a boot for workers, initially
worn by postmen and policemen; comfortable, durable and lightweight in
comparison to its competitors at the time.
A specific
range of “Made In England” products are still manufactured in the Cobbs Lane
factory, Wollaston, England which has been making footwear for the Griggs
family since 1901. It is the home of the original Dr. Martens boot and within
this small factory works a close-knit team of people schooled in traditional
shoe-making and the unique process that makes Dr. Martens like no other shoe on
earth.
This is the
factory where it all began; where the first pair of Dr. Martens boots rolled
off the production line on April 1st, 1960. The manufacturing
process has been fine-tuned and perfected ever since – from the cutting of the
leather hides to the heat-sealing with a blade of fire that welds the
air-cushioned sole to the upper.
