SEDUCTIVE GASTRONOMY, MAGIC AND LIVE JAZZ AT SEVVA FOR VALENTINE’S DAY Glamorous rendezvous SEVVA is entertaining sweethearts with live jazz and magic over a seductive 6-course Valentine’s Day dinner priced at HK$2,800 for two on February 14 atop Prince’s Building in Central. Couples are welcomed with a celebratory glass of Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Rosé and appetizers of Baby Pork Belly Confit with fresh figs and apple purée, and Langoustine on Crispy Sushi spiced with wasabi cream. The elegant gastronomic experience continues with Spinach & Beetroot Risotto with cèpes & white truffle, demitasse of Tomato Bisque & Vichyssoise, and Crispy Duck Breast served with purple yam croquette, cauliflower purée, baby fennel & cherry sauce. Main course is a choice of Wagyu Striploin & Pan-Fried Foie Gras, drizzled with Pommery jus, or a lighter seafood symphony of Wok-Fried Lobster, Sea Conch, Scallops & Abalone, served with asparagus, lily buds & black fungus. Dessert is a delightful creation by SEVVA founder Bonnae Gokson titled ‘Butterflies & All Things Sweet’, served with coffee or tea. In a rare year when Western and Chinese Valentine’s Day coincides, SEVVA is also creating a signature heart-shaped Valentine’s Day cake called ‘Love Chain’. Priced at HK$920 for 500g, it is lusciously layered with Strawberry-Banana-Chocolate Mousse and smothered with vanilla meringue, topped with a choice of handcrafted icing messages such as “Honey Pie”, “Love You”, “Be Mine”, “XOXO”, “True Love”, “Romance Me”, “Miss You” and “Adore You”. It will be available for sale at SEVVA from 6-14 February. To welcome the Year of Horse, SEVVA is also serving its traditional Lunar New Year Specials from February 4-13, and welcoming guests for lunch and dinner with complimentary Red Date Tea. With bespoke festive table decorations, this year’s specialties include Spiced Salt N’ Pepper Prawns with Mango & Radish Salad (HK$320), Wok-Fried Lobster, Sea Conch, Scallops & Abalone Slices with Asparagus & Black Fungus (HK$480), Braised Abalone with Sea Moss, Dried Oysters & Conpoys (HK$520), Saffron Risotto with Seafood & Crispy Seabass (HK$480) and Slow Braised Duckling with Cointreau & Baby Onions (HK$380).
