MIGF 2014---PART 2; MAISON FRANCAISE IS SUCH A STUNNING DISCOVERY AND A SUPERB RESTAURANT YOU MAY NOT WISH TO TELL ANYONE LEST IT GETS TOO CROWDED OR COMMERCIALISED! TOO BAD KEE KNOWS ALL, BLABS ALL!

I SAW Y.A.M TUNKU SHAHABUDDIN TUNKU BESAR BURHANUDDIN GIVING A BAG CONTAINING EXPENSIVE  DIPTIQUE SCENTED CANDLES TO DATIN SU DAY AS WE BOTH CAME EARLY.

I was surprised. Why would he give such a nice gift to Datin Su Day but I put it down to Tg Shahabuddin being a gracious guest. But I remembered he did not bring anything for Datin Su Day at other dinners so why tonight at Maison Francaise? No other persons brought anything for Datin Su or Dato Steve Day.

Things like these don't bother me for long as I concentrated on more important things like the sumptuous repast being dished up by Chef Thierry Le Baut.

But as dinner ended, the staff of Maison Franchaise led by Chef Thierry Le Baut marched in with a chocolate cake singing 'Happy Birthday, Datin Su Day'! 

It was her birthday or rather, birthday eve as her 47th birthday is today 8 October 2014!
