between live and studio work.

is difficult to categorize Chet in one particular style of music. Chet’s
extensive repertoire sees him performing music ranging from “Middle Of The
Road” and Country, through to Rock ‘n’ Roll, Rock and Blues.
His vast musical ability has enabled him to move around the music scene with ease.
Chet
grew up influenced by guitar greats such as Chet Atkins, Les Paul, Merle
Travis and Tommy Emmanuel. At the same time he was listening to classic rock
‘n’ roll artists such as Eddie Cochran, Buddy Holly, Elvis, and the Beatles
to name a few.
Chet
has always had a love of good music and found that he was drawn to the music
of the 50’s and 60’s most of all.
Having this love of Rock ‘n’ roll has paid off as he has recently been involved with the “Class Of 58” Rock ‘n’ Roll Show featuring Shane Cortese.
Chet
plays lead guitar and shares the vocal duties with Shane. One of the
highlights of the show is Chet’s Tribute to the great Buddy Holly.
He looks the part, acts the part and plays great guitar which makes this an entertaining part of the show.
Chet
also performs with his own band, as a solo artist and with many of New
Zealand’s top entertainers.
Whether Chet is playing rock ‘n roll, pop, rock, blues or country, he gives his all to every performance and loves to perform live.
