SHANGRI-LA HOTEL, KUALA LUMPUR
PRESENTS MEETINGS WITH A GREEN AND HEALTHY THEME

A green theme, with an eye on corporate social responsibility, is an important element in meetings, conferences and events held at Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

The hotel focuses on corporate social responsibility when organising these events for clients.  Suggestions and proposals are made to them about going green and transforming a meeting or event package into a unique experience to benefit the participants and the environment.

The concept of “Go Green” meetings aim to reduce the daily carbon footprint.  The meeting room will be set at a constant 25 degrees Celsius.

Napkins made from recycled paper will be used at meal times.  Organic granola bars will be placed on the meeting tables, instead of traditional mints.  Organic welcome boosters will be served before the meeting.

The free-flow coffee breaks are inspired by local flavours and fresh ingredients from Genting Highlands and Cameron Highlands, instead of using imported tea and coffee.

The meetings may begin with 10 minutes of yoga breathing led by an instructor from our fitness club instructor.  A selection of nutritious and healthy refreshments will be served before and in-between meetings to ensure everyone stays energised, calm and motivated.

The essence of relaxation and serenity are in every meeting room to balance the mind, body and soul.
