PART 3; FATHER'S DAY AT SHANGRI-LA, MALAYSIA'S BEST HOTEL!

This is Dedione Kee, my 2 year old son the most good looking son in observable universe. Since I am his father and this is a Father Day's story, I must show him off as I am Dedione's proud dad!

LITTLE CHEFS MEET BIG CHEF AT
SHANGRI-LA HOTEL, KUALA LUMPUR

It was time to reward daddy dearest during Father’s Day at Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur from 15 to 16 June 2013. Following the success of Little Chefs Meet Big Chef cooking program held for Mother’s Day in May, the Hotel invited 13 children to participate in the latest installation of the successful cooking programme. This two day cooking program promises a learning experience like no other as they will be guided by the Hotel’s Executive Chef, Rudolf Kunkel.

On Saturday, 15 June 2013, the participating children gathered at the Hotel for a briefing session, followed by a tour of the kitchen and an exclusive cooking class with the Executive Chef. During the class, the children enjoyed first-hand experience of being in Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur’s award-winning restaurant, Lafite. While in the kitchen, the children were introduced to various cooking ingredients used to prepare special dishes for Father’s Day lunch on 16 June 2013.

The excitement continued on Sunday, 16 June 2013, where the children wore their very own chef uniforms as they entered Lafite restaurant with the Executive Chef, to profess their love to their beloved fathers before presenting a specially prepared lunch for them. As a memento of this joyous occasion, each kid received a certificate and a memorabilia to commemorate their participation.

To be part of this fun filled program, the families of the participating children had to book a table for a minimum of 4 persons, including the participant at Lafite to enjoy a 4-course lunch on Father’s Day which is priced at RM150 nett per person.
