Tropicana Corporation Berhad has just unveiled the iconic master plan - Tropicana Metropark - as one of the well-planned integrated mixed development projects in Klang Valley, set to transform and elevate the vibrancy of Subang Jaya to a higher level.
The trendy and upscale 88-acre development, with a gross floor area of approximately 11 million square feet, is developed by Tropicana Corporation Berhad (“Tropicana” or “Company” or “Group”). With an estimated gross development value of RM6.3 billion, this integrated development offers a fusion of residential, office space, retail, a shopping mall, a hotel, fun-filled entertainment hubs, learning and medical centres amidst wide open spaces and within a secured metropolitan environment.
Designed to encourage a healthy and wholesome live/work lifestyle, a large green oasis of over nine acres in the heart of Tropicana Metropark have been earmarked for a Central Park which includes a man-made lake, pedestrian promenade, jogging and cycling tracks, children playground and F&B strip for alfresco indulgence.
Tropicana Metropark is strategically located between the growth corridors of Subang and Shah Alam with established townships and affluent neighbourhoods. To enhance the accessibility of its development, the Group will be constructing a RM150 million flyover which will directly link the project to the Federal Highway. Work on the flyover will commence next year and is expected to be completed by 2016, while the entire development will be fully developed in 2025.
Dato’ Yau Kok Seng, Group Chief Executive Officer of Tropicana shared, “Tropicana Metropark is the Company’s launch pad to build its growth momentum in 2013. It is the first major launch after last week’s announcement of its rebranding exercise. The lifestyle-inspired and award-winning Tropicana Metropark will create a new and unsurpassed benchmark for excellence in design and sustainability.”
“Tropicana Metropark marks yet another colourful chapter of our glowing accomplishments and is well placed to emerge as the preferred mixed development in the Klang Valley,” he said at the groundbreaking ceremony of Tropicana Metropark which was performed by Subang Jaya Municipal Council (“Majlis Perbandaran Subang Jaya” or “MPSJ”) President Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Asmawi bin Kasbi.
Dato’ Yau said the launch of Tropicana Metropark was well-timed with the highly acclaimed five-star award win for Best Mixed-use Development in Malaysia at the recent Asia Pacific Property Awards 2013.
In conjunction with the groundbreaking ceremony, Tropicana Corporation also announced the launch of the mixed development – Pandora Serviced Residence with a gross development value of RM360 million. The two residential towers offer 627 units with three design options – studio, two and three-bedroom apartments with built-up areas ranging from 600 to 1,200 square feet.
“Since the preview, over 70% of the total units were snapped up. This signifies high demand and buyers’ confidence for this award-winning development,” said Dato’ Yau.
Key features of Pandora Service Residence include CCTV surveillance, built-in kitchen cabinet, air-conditioner units and a host of modern facilities such as floating lap pool, Jacuzzi, multi-purpose hall, BBQ area and children’s playground.
