Why waste time mincing words or beating about the bush or wringing your hands when you can just say so out loud or do it, just like the Nike advert?
It's like propositioning someone for sex. Just ask, do it in one fell swoop, enjoy it, wash up and go home or back to the party to swoop on someone else.
I am a game-changer, not time waster so I always go straight to the jugular! And I always come up tops, due to the personal intervention of Jesus and the personal intercession by Buddha. Amen and Omitofu.
Anyway, Perth Fashion Festival, which is getting nearer as I type, is doing just that---One Fell Swoop to open the VIP Gala Night on 19 September 2012!
Of course in this case, One Fell Swoop is the name of a fashion label and not the act itself though their edgy, stylish garments will conquer you in, er, one fell swoop!

ONE FELL SWOOP TO OPEN PERTH FASHION FESTIVAL VIP OPENING NIGHT
Perth Fashion Festival has today confirmed that One Fell Swoop will open the Perth Fashion Festival (PFF) at the VIP Opening Night in the Perth Town Hall on Wednesday 19 September 2012.
Winners of the West Australian Designers of the Year Award 2011, One Fell Swoop designers Nikolina Ergic and Daniel Romanin met during their time studying fashion at the Central Institute of Technology in Perth.
Their design philosophy is simple; to make clothes that are feminine and desirable, combining tailoring with draping to create a shape that is equally sensitive and feminine as it is modern and minimal.
“Once again we're thrilled to be involved with Perth Fashion Festival and we cannot wait to be a part of the excitement that is synonymous with PFF and for the exposure it generates for our label,” said One Fell Swoop designer, Nikolina Ergic.
“We're incredibly honoured to exhibit One Fell Swoop to a VIP audience on the opening night and we intend for it to be a truly memorable evening.”
One Fell Swoop’s Spring/Summer 2012/13 collection, An Illusive Tribe, is inspired by the need for self-belief and self-inspection; the notions of kinship, the strength and structure of men contrasted by the sensuality of women.
A strong palette of solid red and dreamy pinks has re-directed the labels traditional sombre tones with striking block colours contrasted with lush earthy prints and directional stripes.
“Since winning Most Innovative Designer at the 2011 Western Australian Fashion Awards, One Fell Swoop is the perfect label to open Perth Fashion Festival. One Fell Swoop is an innovative Western Australian label and continue to impress Perth with their signature style of beautiful draping, edgy sophistication and modern aesthetic,” said PFF Director, Mariella Harvey-Hanrahan.
“A garment’s cut can make or break a design and their latest collection is truly polished. I am sure I speak on behalf of Perth when I say I cannot wait to see what’s in store for us when they show at one of WA’s most prestigious venues, Perth Town Hall. They will be the ones to watch this year!”
PFF is supported by the State Government through Eventscorp, the Department of Culture and the Arts and the City of Perth.
